Life’s Illusion
Black shall not be white, light shall not be dark
And simple is not always so simple.
Do the quiet always fail to remark?
Are only the weak ones sentimental?
No I say. No I boldly dare state.
If our eyes were honest, would sight be fun?
Coincidence is mistaken as fate.
Acceptance accepted only by some.
Black may blend with white, light may hold shadow,
The mind learns to translate what our senses feel,
Are you the saint with the tarnished halo?
Are you the devil whom others you heal?
Deception is life, that’s no illusion.
Hone your senses. Avoid confusion.
