I’m Aaron, (also known as ‘The Busy Papa‘) and am based in Hertfordshire (just north of London). I have two children (the Papalites); a boy and a girl (almost four years apart). We have a shared love of the natural world (animals especially), Pokémon and time together chilling out.
I am a blogger, writer, freelancer and former software engineer. A few life goals of mine are to travel the world more thoroughly (Iceland, America and Italy all come to mind) and my eldest wants to visit Japan together when he is a teenager. Personally I also want to see more of my writing reach the wider-world, be more involved in conservation projects and dream of establishing a poetry workshop and programming club for special needs children.
I believe adamantly in doing what we can for our planet and in the importance of maintaining and promoting good mental health (as a long-time sufferer of anxiety and stress). I’m a bit of a geek too; books, comics, TV, movies and videogames all play a part in my life. The Busy Papa blog, however, is focused primarily on eco, lifestyle, parenting and personal wellbeing content.
