Children's Nature Bundle with Welbeck Publishing

Children’s Nature Bundle with Welbeck Publishing

Children’s Nature Bundle with Welbeck Publishing

I can’t remember where I read it or what the evidence was to suggest it is even true. However, I do remember reading once that children with consistent access to nature are better learners. They end up with broader focus, less stress and increased empathy. Whether or not this is true, I couldn’t say. What I do know is that given where the world is, it is certainly true that the older generations should be fostering and encouraging that sense of wonder about the natural world with the up-and-coming generations. Fortunately, Welbeck Publishing have three children’s books in their portfolio which aim to help your budding nature enthusiasts and I am happy to announce that I can offer these as a bundle for three lucky readers.

Undercover Animals

Undercover Animals

Of the books in this bungle, Undercover Animals is certainly the more activity focused. Written by Camilla de la Bedoyere, this book is a discovery of the amazing powers that exist in nature to camouflage and confuse. The book itself is full of imagery for young eyes to find the hiding creatures as well as fun and informative facts to help build their knowledge and understanding.

Weird Weather & Changing Climates

Weird Weather & Changing Climates

The world climate is changing, bringing wild weather and extreme temperatures, and it’s upsetting the delicate balance that supports life on Earth. Whilst the message is grim, it is necessary.

This book by Hannah Wilson details the ways the planet’s health is declining; but, clearly reminds that this is hope if we take positive action. Perhaps one that more sensitive children may struggle with but a very clear and strong source of information for the eco-warriors of our future.

Living Planet

Living Planet

I’m a big fan of the interactive and AR books in the Welbeck catalogue and this is another! Living Planet is a celebration of all the different ecosystems on our planet.

Also written by Camilla de la Bedoyere; not only is there vivid imagery and fantastic facts. But, if you add a smartphone to the mix there are also spectacular videos of volcanoes and wildlife and other amazing elements of the natural world. Everything from biomes, to fossils, to fauna and flora are covered in this delightful little book. There are facts galore!
