VINYL FOR YOUR KITCHEN

WHY YOUR HOME NEEDS A RELIABLE STEP

The kitchen is the room in your house that sees a lot of heavy activity be it cooking, rushing or appliances that give your floor a true test of durability.

Therefore it is the perfect model for an option of vinyl for your flooring. Let us look at some situations that a regular kitchen faces and how vinyl can withstand even the toughest of kitchen challenges.

Spillages and Clean Ups

The main reason for kitchen use is in the cooking and preparing of food and whether it be sauces or liquids, there is always the risk of spillage or the dropping of a jar on your floor.

Other types of flooring may leave stains after multiple clean up attempts have been applied, however vinyl offers an easy to clean approach with the added satisfaction of stain resistance. A simple warm soapy sponge and no trace of any discolouration.

There is also the chance that the plate or jar would not break due to the cushion fall vinyl tile or sheet provided over other flooring options. Plates have been shown to land without so much as a chip around the edge, meaning you won’t be replacing that crockery set anytime soon.

Lifespan

Vinyl has scratch guard technology ensuring that all those occasions where the floor is given its toughest challenge there is no need to hide it.

From the family pets running across the floor to the back yard to installation of new kitchen appliances, a normal kitchen floor sees a lot on a regular day nevermind all year around.

Vinyl also comes in use with anti-slip properties as well as being waterproof, meaning spillages or water from the sink or kitchen appliances will not seep through underneath the flooring causing water damage. However, should any occur – services such as Glenview water damage service can rectify things quickly and efficiently.

Maintaining and Replacing

In the instances where a tile would need to be replaced for any reason, the uninstallation and reinstallation of vinyl flooring is a quick and easy process. Tile is very easy to replace which makes it a high choice for most kitchen designers.

With quick and easy installation you also save money on employing professionals to work on the flooring, and if someone in the house loves DIY it is a perfect project for them to get their creative minds to work.

No End of Options

With the endless supply of options available, you can be as creative as you want with your floor and no one will be able to tell the difference.

If you have a feel of a wooden floor you can have it anywhere from light wood to dark. If you like the feel of stepping on a stone or marble floor you can have it looking just how you envision.

Maybe you have a love for pattern design or something truly innovative. With vinyl flooring you have as many options as you would like and specialists who can find you exactly what you are looking to achieve.

Amtico is a supplier with over 50 years of knowledge and experience in flooring with a focus on a quality natural look that encompasses stylish abstract and spacia stone. Luvanto is another that offers durable luxury flooring such as Parquet and Endure Pro as well a vast selection of colour palettes for a cutting edge feel to your kitchen.

For a room in your house that provides a lot of care for the needs of your family, your kitchen requires a floor solution that provides a secure and sustainable life without constant attention, freeing you up to dedicate your time with your family.

I had tiles in my kitchen but we chose to change to vinyl, because it was easier to maintain and looked a whole lot better
