Poem Bats

Poem: Bats

Posted on 05/11/201821/01/2021 by The Busy Papa

Bats

I hear the wings flutter
In the depths of my mind
Disturbing the clutter
I’d like to leave behind
The eerie forms flying
The creepy silhouettes
The beady eyes prying into my regrets
The weird little creatures
Living inside my head
Cling to my worst features
As if they had bled
